Global Connections London and South East meets regularly in central London to pray together, share ideas and plan multi-mission events for churches or Christian Unions.
There is a payment of £20 per year made directly to Global Connections. This covers the cost of hiring the room we use at Christian Medical Fellowship for such meetings and to assist with expenses for speakers at events.
In general, there is an agreed consensus to meet for mutual support and encouragement, to focus on student-specific events run with the full cooperation of UCCF in the south east region and to plan multi-mission events at both churches and Bible week-type events, too.
There are three meetings a year that take place approximately: in late September to talk specifically about any CU meetings coming up; in late February to do some evaluation of CU meetings taken and how we can continue to offer a great event to students; in late May to late June a meeting is held with no clear or pressing agenda but it's a time to reflect on how well things are going across our organisations.
