Join us for a day of networking, prayer, news and discussion, a time for shared learning around issues on Central Asia. Bringing people from all corners of the network and beyond, together we will explore God's mission, looking closely at the challenges and successes that arise in these difficult countries.
Our speakers will bring us up-to-date news, presentations, reflections, and some thoughts about the future. Our topic for the next meeting is:
Voices from the Field
Whereas our last meeting looked at expats and their impact on the Central Asian church, we follow on to hear the voices of those who live and work in the region. Our first speaker will share material with us having gathered fresh content from an often neglected region, and the second is an ongoing in-country practitioner who will share about places where it is most dangerous to be a follower of Christ. The final speaker is the daughter of a pastor working in an underground church reflecting on how persecution impacts her as a believer.
Payment of the £15 fee (for both members and non-members of GC) is required in advance, when booking, to help to cover the cost of the venue and other expenses. Drinks will be provided (from 11.30am) but please bring your own lunch.
