Coaching Skills Workshop (3 days)

An interactive three-day workshop to strengthen interpersonal abilities by integrating coaching skills into all areas of HR, member care or pastoral work.

The Coaching Skills Workshop is designed for those engaged in pastoral and personnel activities, to increase their effectiveness and apply new skills in this vital task. It is an approach even seen to be used by God in his dealings with some people in the bible. Such skills can help individuals understand how they might overcome obstacles and achieve goals in their personal or professional lives. Drawing from Dr. Keith E. Webb's book, The COACH Model for Christian Leaders, this workshop delivers practical skill development through high-quality, interactive coaching training, and has been used effectively in over 20 countries around the world.

Paul Lindsay will be leading the workshop along with Janice Wilburn. Both are trained and accredited coaches and work at the heart of Global Connections Options Coaching service. Paul is also licensed with CRM to use and teach the COACH model material.

The 3-day programme will focus on integrating coaching skills with existing leadership roles. Church leaders and HR people alike have testified to the great value of integrating these skills into their work.

Through a high level of interaction, and lots of practice, participants learn key coaching skills, such as listening, using empowering questions, developing actions and follow up. Each participant will receive a 50+ page workbook.

We believe those who complete this programme will be more effective in supporting others to develop their potential in all areas of life and to take action to accomplish that which matters most to them.

Cancellation Policy: The majority of the cost of a residential event is the accommodation charge which we have to pay to the conference centre well in advance of the event. Therefore, although we will aim to be as generous as possible with our refunds, they will normally only consist of a small proportion of the amount paid and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
