Keeping on top of up to date research in a relatively new and developing field can be a challenge. Come along to this event and aid your professional development.
We will be hearing from Beverlea Parkhill, Glenn Miles and Judy Routamaa who will present their recent in-depth research. There will be opportunities to discuss the implications in table groups. The topics covered include:
- The re-entry of mission partners, particularly focusing on the nature and extent of grief and loss
- Self-care for single mission workers and how member care can facilitate this
- Expat Christian workers (both male and female) use of sexual services in SE Asia, their experiences of sexual harassment and how member care may support workers in their sexual integrity.
We do hope you can join us on 8 October for this unique and exciting opportunity.
The cost is £20 to people from GC member agencies and churches. Cost for non GC members is £50. Refreshments and lunch are included in the price. The event starts at 11am, with coffee served from 10.30am, and finishes at 4.00pm.
