Over this last three and a half years we have been blessed with a significant increase in the number of people using St Katharine's Parmoor. Largely as a result of this, and one or two moving on to new opportunities, we now have capacity to add new members to the team.

We are a small, hard-working and dedicated team and have positions available for suitably qualified or experienced people:

Some of the responsibilities are to…

• Service bedrooms and all public areas.
• Assist in the kitchen and serving meals in the dining room.

The roles are based on a 35-hour week – including weekend working. Onsite accommodation may be available if required.

St Katharine’s Retreat House, Parmoor is a Christian House of Prayer situated just outside the village of Frieth. It is a haven for quiet reflection for people of all faiths and none providing a venue for retreats, quiet days and other gatherings. The house was originally the home of the Sisters of St Katharine and later given to Sue Ryder to be used for it’s current role.

Being a Christian is not an occupational requirement for this role but we would hope that any successful applicant be sympathetic and supportive to the Christian ethos of the house.
