Pray for the provision of education to the women in Afghanistan, and that the Lord may use ChrisFon to help these women find hope and spiritual strength.

A fresh wave of persecution in Pakistan and India is aimed at the church. Afghan refugees in Pakistan are being ejected back into Afghanistan and will be persecuted again. EEF is changing its emphasis to provide literature in all the Central Asia languages to undergird the education and training of the emerging churches in CA including Afghanistan. The Pakistan government is ejecting illegal refugees and there are many believers amongst them. They are being fined $1,200 to be able to leave the country to a safe place, Donations are quickly needed.

Pray for the many Afghan believers ring hunted down in Afghanistan. There is a need for sponsors to support them.

Children of some of the families we support in Afghanistan have died due to the cold.

Please pray for the female staff of BMS World Mission’s partner in Afghanistan. As they continue to navigate daily life under heavily restricted circumstances, please pray that they would be kept safe and that they would know hope in Christ. Pray that attitudes towards women would change in this nation, and that everyone is free to live in peace and safety there.

Several extended-believing families in Afghanistan are faced with starvation and need food and shelter. 

Believers from Afghanistan are in Pakistan and need help to find a place to go to and avoid the terrible consequences of being caught by the Taliban in Afghanistan.

A man who converted to Christianity four years ago has been sentenced to death in Libya, according to Middle East Concern. He has refused calls from militia groups to denounce his faith. Pray he will be given fair and legal representation, and he will be freed to live his life for the Lord.

The level of the suffering of Afghan children is nearly unprecedented. The political and social economic development of 2021, when leadership transitioned, and the implication of basic services and financial systems collapsed. Pray for the current crises and its uncertainties for women and children. There’s a rise in violence against children in the villages and the majority have left school. There is no education system and children are working and begging in the street.
