Church Planter among Balanta People - Guinea-Bissau

Could you help plant a church for Christian believers amongst the Balanta Mane people? The Balanta play a type of lute called a Kusunde. They are usually fishermen, farmers or cattle herders and predominantly Muslims. They grow crops such as rice and nuts with cashews being their main crop. There are around 31,000 speakers of the Balanta Mane language. WEC work in the Cacheu region near Senegal, seeking to reach and disciple the Balanta Mane people. Come to learn their language, history and culture, and minister with a team of national Christians and foreign workers from various ethnic backgrounds.
Commitment: 2+ years. This position is unsalaried, as all WEC personnel look to God to provide their personal needs. WEC ref 43
