Abernethy Trainee Instructor (TI) course is designed to kickstart your career to become an Outdoor Activity Instructor. Join our 6-month full-time residential programme to grow in faith, develop your character, practice your soft skills and gain National Governing Body qualifications – all whilst living in Christian Community in the Cairngorms.

Following on from this course each Trainee will have the opportunity to apply and continue with qualifications as a team member within the Abernethy Instructional department.

It is this team environment which provides a great opportunity to reach your potential as an Outdoor Activity Instructor, whilst observing, working, training and being mentored by experienced team members.

Alongside being discipled, you will work towards set goals using a tailored development and training plan, which will further enhance your hard and soft skills.
