Mission Africa
Mission Africa(Edit)
We are an interdenominational, Evangelical, Protestant mission, who want to share the love of Jesus with the people of Africa: reaching the unreached, loving the unloved, discipling new believers.
Mission Africa works in Nigeria, Burkina Faso, Chad and Kenya. We are involved in equipping the Church through: Bible training; providing skilled medical care; running compassionate ministries for those living with HIV/AIDS, children who have been orphaned, and vulnerable women; evangelism - reaching unengaged people groups. Mission Africa also works in the area of peace-building between Muslim and Christian communities in Nigeria.
We encourage people to get involved and experience mission first-hand, through short-term summer teams (working alongside our missionaries) and with gap-year opportunities.
- Short-term mission: We send short-term teams (2 weeks-1 month) and facilitate gap placements (6 months-1 year).
- Long-term mission: full-time missionaries are required for several ministries (2 years minimum).
