The morning sessions (10:30-13:00) will focus on exploring the current global health needs and the context of serving in global health today. We'll examine the history of medical missions, discuss the opportunities and challenges present in serving today, and delve into the healthcare needs worldwide. This includes real-world examples of healthcare in practice, providing insights into the practical application of global health initiatives. Additionally, there will be an opportunity for participants to pose questions to the panel, fostering engagement and dialogue on these important topics.
The afternoon (14.00-17.30) is composed of various mission agencies exhibiting where you are welcome to come and chat to them about opportunities to serve. There follows an optional electives session and 3 short talks:
1. Changing face of mission - Sue Barclay2. How your church can get involved in mission - Mike Frith3. Jump in with both feet when you go - Peter Saunders
The evening holds another session from Mark Galpin on Integral Mission, with the day ending at 19.30.
