Rethinking Power, Reimagining Mission
How does power work in world mission? Is there a fundamental problem affecting us all? Can we reframe the use of power to help us participate in the Spirit’s power and witness to the world.
Through plenary sessions, workshops and panel discussion, Michael Stroope will lead us in thinking through these vital issues in this one-day conference; we will rethink the role of power and explore three transformative images.
The desired outcome for the day is a fresh perspective on one of the most crucial challenges facing the church’s engagement with and witness to the world.
Speaker:
Our main speaker for this event will be Michael Stroope, Professor of Christian Missions and holder of the M.C. Shook Chair of Missions.
