Assistant Church Leader

Description

We are looking for a part time assistant leader who loves Jesus and people. You will have a focus on young people and children while being part of the leadership team, playing an active role in church life as a whole. You will be responsible for developing a youth programme and any extra youth activities to provide young people with a safe environment to experience the presence of God, and to reign in life.

Re:Ignite Church has a really strong core of older believers who are passionate about Jesus, hosting the Holy Spirit and loving those who don’t know Jesus yet. We are part of the Global Awakening family and closely associated with Bethel Church, Redding. We have an impact far beyond our numbers, including a massive building vision (see www.exchangeblackburn.org.uk). We have started a Spirit Cafe outreach in our local college, which has had astounding favour. This is therefore primarily an entrepreneurial and evangelistic role and is an exciting opportunity for the right person to be part of a vibrant church; to use and develop their gifts in, and calling to, church-based ministry; and to be involved in serving and shaping our continued journey.
