Regional Relational Pioneer (North)

Description

We are looking for an experienced and expert youth worker to join our mission-driven team as a Regional Relational Pioneer. In this key role, you will be part of a team that supports, equips and empowers new and existing Youth for Christ centres as well as proactively reaching out to churches to promote the importance of mission to unchurched young people and offer practical advice and guidance to help them achieve this.

This work will be predominantly, but not exclusively in the North.

As part of the Relational team, you will:

• Build strong supportive relationships with local Youth for Christ centres, primarily with Directors/Lead workers and Trustees. Develop regular communication points and be available in moments of crisis, change and transition.
• Support regional support structures (Clusters) to ensure local centres have regular peer support and encouragement.
• Research local churches in your area and offering consultations that offers advice, guidance and support to promote and enable mission to unchurched young people
• Develop new and positive relationships with local communities to initiate new Youth for Christ Local Centres against a pre-determined target set by the National Lead
