We are seeking a Marketing and Communications Officer to deliver Scripture Union’s Communications and Marketing strategy, with a particular emphasis on marketing and promotion activities. This includes promotion of resources, products, events and other areas of SU’s work in an integrated cross-channel way to a wide range of audiences.
The successful candidate will:
- Have demonstrable experience and impact in a similar role.
- Report to the Senior Communications and Marketing Manager and will work closely with the whole Mobilisation team, and wider staff team, to ensure joined-up advocacy for the movement.
- Develop, implement, manage and analyse integrated marketing campaigns (across a range of digital and offline channels) to promote Scripture Union’s resources, activities and events.
- Co-ordinate, create and commission eye-catching and on-brand digital and print assets to support the delivery of marketing/promotion campaigns.
- Plan and book (print and digital) advertising opportunities and create or commission relevant advertising assets.
- Write, design, send and analyse email marketing campaigns. This includes planning and managing email users journeys to encourage deeper relationships with Scripture Union.
- Plan, implement and manage SU’s paid-for social media and other digital advertising, including management of SU’s Google ad campaigns.
- Monitor, report and analyse the performance of Marketing and Communications campaigns across all channels (using tools such as Google Analytics).
- Working together with the Communications Officer and Senior Communications and Marketing Manager, share in the planning, delivery and analysis of our social media output.
- Ensure the SU website is fresh and up to date, with a particular focus on creating, maintaining and improving areas related to marketing and promotional activity.

*This role is based at our National Offices. However, there is an opportunity for hybrid working in line with our policy.
