Description
An opportunity to make Jesus known in Stapleford
If you are keen to share the gospel in everyday life and to help others do the same, read on. Our vision is to be a church which shines out to our town of Stapleford as we are transformed. Could you join us as we teach, preach, and live out the gospel through transformed lives?
We are looking for either a church worker or an assistant pastor ready for an opportunity to grow in full-time gospel ministry in a community setting.
This is for a man or woman who is:
- ambitious for gospel work in a town community
- confident in sharing Jesus in formal and informal settings
- relational and able to walk with people exploring Christian faith
- gifted in equipping and encouraging others in outreach
- able to think strategically
- a flexible team player, working well with our elders and members
- keen to develop ministry among parents and families
The appointee will be a mature and godly Christian eligible for membership who:
- has some experience of community-based ministry
- has theological training (but we could consider a training post)
- is open to working cross-culturally
We envisage an initial 3 year term, with hopes to extend as funding allows. The salary will reflect experience and level of appointment. The opportunity is open now.
