Description
Is God calling you to be a part of a vibrant Christian Community? Have you got a passion to serve? Are you prepared to live and work as part of this Community?
Do you want to be part of a community of Christians from many nations around the world, who encourage each other to put Christ at the centre and to live out the gospel in down-to-earth ways?
Lee Abbey Devon welcomes people and serves churches with the vision of people encountering Jesus Christ so that lives, relationships, communities and environment are transformed. It is run by a Christian community from many nations.
The Lee Abbey Estate is looking for someone to join the team to help with the efficient running of the Lee Abbey Estate. Are you called to a Community way of life?
Would you be willing to give a year of your time to come and live in community and help with the efficient running of the Lee Abbey Estate, which includes 280 acres of Farm, Woodland and Gardens within the Exmoor National Park. You would be working with our own Cattle, Sheep and Pigs as well as woodland work and garden maintenance. We are looking for people, with some relevant experience, that are keen to learn, enjoy outside work, are physically fit, work well as part of a team and are interested in countryside issues. We do however need you to hold a full driving license. In return we can offer training, widening of our experience and the opportunity to work in a beautiful part of God’s creation.
Single accommodation and full board provided.
Being on Community is about living, working, serving and worshipping closely together, being open to being known for who we are. It’s challenging but great fun too, and if you let it, it can be life-changing.
