Interested contacts and new believers in the Arabian Peninsula usually start their journey with Jesus with many misconceptions about the Bible and the way of real faith. Pray for deep renewing of their minds and transformation of their lives.

A CMS mission partner who is a lawyer serves persecuted Christians in the Middle East and North Africa using his legal qualifications, skills and expertise. As he advocates for religious freedom across the region, pray for authorities to respect the right to freedom of religion, for charges against Christians to be dropped and convictions overturned, and for churches that are closed to be permitted to reopen.

Praise God that funding has been secured for the next three years for the Magend* translation project in West Asia. This spring the team is working on the remaining New Testament books. The Magend team needs more translation checkers. Please pray for more qualified checkers in the coming years. *name changed for security reasons

Pray for the team who are building meaningful relationships with people in the Middle East through social media. The Ephraim Project engages Christians worldwide to volunteer their time to befriend people from this region through English conversations online and sharing Jesus with them. Pray for God's leading as they engage in spiritual conversations, and that our team would be a source of encouragement and support during times of local unrest and a guide towards the Father’s comfort. Pray for people in areas where Internet access has recently been cut off and for their connections to be restored.
