Macedonia
Give thanks that the Evangelical Church in North Macedonia has shared evangelistic gift bags with Christian literature, calendars and New Testaments in Prilep, Shtip, Negotino and Resen; pray that these conversations lead to ongoing discipleship. Pray for the Alpha course in Prilep, for open hearts and faithful follow up. Ask for provision and safety as the Roma puppet team serves multiple towns and as the church in Resen seeks a newer ministry van for outreach. Pray for bold, gracious witness in Skopje’s Old Bazaar and encouragement for smaller fellowships such as the Roma group in Kavadarci.
The Evangelical Church in North Macedonia is sharing the gospel through Alpha courses, street evangelism, and humanitarian support for families in need. Pray for new initiatives like the Alpha Youth Series and discipleship courses to inspire lasting faith. Ask God to bless outreach in Skopje’s Old Bazaar and strengthen small fellowships such as the Roma group in Kavadarci. Give thanks for youth activities like the Royal Rangers hike and pray for unity among churches across the Balkans, so they can work together effectively for Christ’s kingdom.
For the preparations of the Night to Shine Event for which Dragan and Biljana Manevi are the lead organizers on the 13th February 2026. It has a great impact on the local community of Resen. It is an event hosted by a local restaurant for children/ young people with special needs. It is a fun and celebratory event where the children receive a warm welcome and a red-carpet entrance.
The Evangelical Church in North Macedonia continues to reach vulnerable communities with the love of Christ. Give thanks for recent baptisms in Bitola, Prilep and Skopje, including Maja, who found freedom in Christ. Pray for lasting growth among new believers. Lift up a Roma family from Kavadarci who relocated after a violent attack, thank God the father, Ervin, found work and is supporting the local pastor. Ask for healing, justice and safety for others. Pray also for outreach to homeless people in Skopje, and for creative events like music tours and football tournaments to open doors for the Gospel.
Over the summer, the Evangelical Church in North Macedonia saw remarkable gospel outreach and spiritual growth. Church members in Resen shared the Gospel door-to-door across several villages, while youth from the fellowship joined a regional festival in Croatia, engaging deeply with worship and teaching. Praise God for the baptisms that followed in Veles, Bitola, and even Vienna through Prilep’s fellowship - evidence of lives changed and faith deepened. Outreach among Albanian Muslims in Struga and Turkish Muslims near Radovish also continued, with hearts opening to the message of Christ. As renovations progress at the church in Radovish and equipment is sought for ministry in Shtip, pray that these spaces and resources will be used to glorify God and grow His Kingdom.
Give thanks to God that the Evangelical Church in North Macedonia is seeing great success through their street evangelism and pray for even more opportunities to spread the Good News. Thank Him, too, for the ordination of three new young elders in Gevgelija and ask that God would use them powerfully for His witness and glory. Also lift up the recent week-long youth Christian festival, Srcokret, which took place in Croatia in June with participation from the Evangelical Church in North Macedonia. Pray for lasting impact, powerful encounters with God, and lives transformed by His love.
Give thanks for the Night for Worship event in Skopje, which encouraged many young people, and for the Night to Shine event, after which Sashe and Gordana gave their lives to Christ. Pray for the Evangelical Church in North Macedonia as they continue spreading the Gospel, and praise God that secular media covers their events. Following a devastating fire in Kochani a few weeks ago, pray that the local evangelical church brings comfort to those grieving, reflecting God’s love and care.
Please pray for the Evangelical Church in North Macedonia, which held its ‘Night to Shine’ event in February. This special celebration, organised by the Skopje, Resen, and Negotino churches, honours and uplifts people with disabilities. We pray that all who attended, along with their families, would feel blessed by this event and be drawn to the love and truth of Jesus.
Early in September, pastors from the Evangelical Church in North Macedonia will be meeting to discuss the future of mission within their churches. Pray for God’s guidance in bringing the message of Jesus to all. Also, praise God for an amazing Gospel concert held in Struga in August, hosted by the Evangelical Church. Pray that everyone who attended would have seen the light of Jesus shining through.
Praise God for successful evangelistic events run by the Evangelical Church in North Macedonia in Radovish city library. At the most recent, a North Macedonian football player, who is also a Christian, spoke & many football fans came to listen to his testimony.
Praise God that Ayhan was ordained as an elder at the Roma church in Bitola, North Macedonia. He is a dedicated man of God who has the potential to take over pastoral responsibility in the future. Please pray for Pastor Socrat and his wife Lena from the Evangelical Church in North Macedonia. They are both in poor health and are looking to retire but there is no one who can replace them yet.
Praise God that the Evangelical Church in North Macedonia has commissioned its mobile Christian bookstore and coffee bar. Pray for fruit from this ministry as church members travel across the country in the van, sharing the Good News.
