About

The vision for the CSPN has always been that it will have a global reach and be well represented across the international missions’ arena. Despite the fact that child abuse on the mission field and in international boarding schools is a real problem, mission agencies often tend to be unaware and unprepared in this area. Organisations face specific and unique challenges when dealing with safeguarding issues in countries or locations where the usual statutory processes may be under resourced or non-existent.  

The Child Safety & Protection Network collaborates with international Christian organizations in their efforts to safeguard children.

• Connect: We foster collaboration by sharing knowledge, experience, and resources as a network.
• Educate: We provide training to empower organizations to develop their own safeguarding programs.
• Protect: We support the creation of organizational environments where children’s safety and well-being are prioritized.

CSPN is a rich resource of expertise and practical hands-on help. CSPN provides opportunities to network with those UK and other internationally-based agencies and organisations who are looking to beef up their screening/recruiting/training of members & increasing the effectiveness of their response to safeguarding concerns.

September 22-October 8: Online Response Team Training, a twice/week, 3 hours/session training lasting 3 weeks this fall.

January 25-27, 2027: Japan  Response Team and Programme Essentials Trainings (RTT/ PET)

March 8-13 , 2027: Orlando, Florida, USA   Response Team and Pregramme Essentials Trainings (RTT/ PET) and 2027 Global Conference

The Child Safety and Protection Network supports the common desire of like-minded mission agencies, international schools, NGOs, and Christian Service Providers to provide safe and rich experiences for all children.
