About

Salt Factory Sports is a Christian sports ministry based in Northern Ireland. We use sport as an effective means of bringing people together, building relationships and creating real opportunities for evangelism and discipleship. We currently work in several countries across Europe, Africa and Asia.

What We Do;

• Church Partnership- The Church plays a crucial role in building long-term community and disciples. We aim to support Churches with this by engaging with people of all ages and abilities through sports-based activities together, train an increasing number of Churches in developing sustainable sports outreach projects, and partner with Churches to run sport-based clubs and missions both locally and internationally.

• School programmes/ support- We support both primary and secondary schools through a vast array of programmes, sports clubs, events and services, sharing faith where it is appropriate and welcomed in each of our programmes and events.

• Community Sport- Local communities have an opportunity to give people a sense of belonging and connection. To create opportunities to learn from others, contribute their skills, and feel valued. At Salt Factory Sports we are passionate about partnering and supporting local communities reaching these goals through offering a variety of programmes and services.

• Performance Sport- Over the years we have had the privilege of working with some exceptionally talented athletes and sports teams. We partner with high level sports people, coaches, teams and National Associations
  with the aim of developing performance, building relationships, sharing the gospel and providing impactful experiences through sports mission opportunities.

• Local and international mission teams- Each summer, Salt Factory Sports facilitates mission teams both locally across Northern Ireland, and internationally. These teams provide people of all ages and abilities with the opportunity to partner in our work and experience sports ministry in action, serving communities through sport and practical support.

The mission uses sport to bring people together, build relationships and see people of all ages become enthusiastic followers of Christ who are living contagious Christian lives.
