About

Wycliffe Bible Translators' vision is for a world where everyone can know Jesus through the Bible.

1 in 5 people are still waiting for the Bible in the language they know best. Wycliffe works to change this by serving local partners around the world as they bring God's word to their people.

God is at work through the ministry of Bible translation - in 2024 a Bible or New Testament was launched at the rate of one every 3.5 days - that's two a week! There is now more Bible translation work in progress than ever before. Which means that in the coming years there is a historic opportunity to get significantly closer to the vision of everyone being able to know Jesus through the Bible.
