Operations Manager

Mission Geeks is a Christian charity based in Zambia, Africa, working with existing rural missions and grass roots projects in the fields of health, education & conservation. We utilise skilled personnel, through our network of ‘geeks’, providing practical, technical and creative support and training, by means of site visits or remote troubleshooting.

As an organisation we currently offer assistance in the following areas: plumbing & electrical infrastructure, access to reliable and sustainable sources of water and electricity, website design and creative content, internet access and networking, and maintaining and repairing medical and ancillary equipment.

Whether our partners are missions, hospitals or schools our aim is to bear some of the technical, creative and practical burden, as well as set up those on the ground to be able to manage these areas efficiently in the future, allowing them to concentrate their efforts on doing what they do best.

We are looking for another geek to join our team as Operations Manager, to oversee the day-to-day activities of the organisation and manage ongoing projects. Operational responsibilities would include a wide variety of administrative, human resource, book-keeping and logistical tasks, to ensure the effective and efficient operation of Mission Geeks.
