Student Ministries Coordinator (K-12 School)

Grace International School is a quality, affordable Christian school in Chiang Mai, Thailand. GIS exists so that international Christian workers are enabled to remain abroad due to the educational and spiritual needs of their children being met. These needs include access to distance education support, adaptive instruction, and tools that enable students to grow in their personal faith journey with the Lord.

Job Description:

Outreaches and Student Interaction:

● Oversees outreach initiatives (such as The Blessing Directive, Care Corner, Night Bazaar evangelism), currently

offered as after-school clubs

● Plans and coordinates High School service projects, including GIS Serves Day and student-driven fundraising

efforts for local and global missions

● Builds relationships with students to support outreach and service involvement

● Seeks out new local service and outreach opportunities for High School students

● Supports the Spiritual Life Director in planning the Core Team retreat and chapel team end-of-year celebration by

managing logistics and scheduling

● Develops student leaders for outreach ministries, meeting with them regularly to provide guidance and support

● Develops new outreach opportunities for High School students, such as regional mission trips, short-term service

projects, and partnerships with local ministries

Administration:

● Arranges transportation, logistics, and scheduling for outreach events and Elevation Week under the direction of

the Spiritual Life Director

● Collects and compiles weekly updates on outreach activities and SLO ministry events for inclusion in the Weekly

Roar

● Ensures the Spiritual Life Office is stocked with necessary supplies for outreach events and leadership meetings

● Attends weekly Spiritual Life Office staff meetings and contributes to discussions on outreach strategy and student

engagement

● Assists in scheduling and developing the Core Team leadership curriculum

● Assists with technical and logistical needs for High School chapel band practices and Worship Nights

● Assists in scheduling HS Chapel guest speakers

● Other duties as agreed upon by the Supervisor
