Listening to the network - 2024 Global Connections & MAP Listening Exercise
Sharing the Global Connections & MAP Listening Exercise report
Posted on 25 November 2024 by Ben Stansfield
Over the last few months, the Global Connections & MAP staff team has been having conversations with members from across the network to understand more deeply about the landscape of mission in the UK, the key issues facing network members and about how members are engaging with Global Connections & MAP activities.
This has been an important piece of work, eventuating in a report that we hope everybody within the network can benefit from. It includes a total of 46 recommendations for the network to consider and take forward together as we look to build a vision and strategy for the future. We are pleased to be able to share this report with you.
This Listening Exercise Report is a foundational document for us to build on as we seek God for our future as a network and plan for 2025 and beyond. The Global Connections & MAP staff team, board and council have already been busy considering its findings, and we hope you will also read over it and continue to contribute as we establish a vision and strategy for the coming years.
We would love to hear your reflections and any further comments you may have. This is a shared piece of work, and we are immensely grateful to all those who directly contributed into it. Please feel free to use it to support the work of your own ministry wherever this may be helpful.
Our hope is that all the wisdom and insight gathered doesn’t end in this report, rather that it serves as a strong foundation on which we can act. With that heart if there are topics or areas within the report that you would like to pick up, or collaborate on with others in the network, or any questions, please do reach out.
