Dan Challis

Dan joined the Global Connections team in 2024 after ten years working for Interserve GBI: a mission organisation serving the peoples of Asia & the Arab World and also a member of Global Connections. After growing up in Manchester, Dan spent time serving with a community development NGO in Uganda before two years co-ordinating worship and mission teams at the church he grew up in. Dan met his wife, Alison, in 2014 and moved north to the Scottish Borders in 2021 with their two children. When not at his desk or spending time with family, you can usually find Dan running over the hills and through the trails of the Borders. Dan is also a freelance sports journalist, specialising in professional cycling: don't get him started on that subject unless you have a free afternoon.
