Event Details
The voluntary work of trustees is invaluable, but the law is complex and the consequences of getting it wrong can be huge. It's hardly surprising that the Charity Commission recommends that Charity trustees have regular training, but it can be hard to find training that is convenient and which answers the topics and issues you face.
The Lawyers' Christian Fellowship is committed to mobilising legal talents to serve the wider church. We invite you to a special evening for Church leaders and trustees when an expert panel of specialist lawyers will provide the answers you need to know, about running a charity, managing staff (employees, office holders, and volunteers), and complying with data protection law.
Following the Questions & Answers session light refreshments will be provided so that you can connect and catch up with local church leaders, and so that you can meet and ask questions of the law firms represented.
