Event Details
The opportunities to serve God in mission today are growing. God is doing new things and inviting us to be part of them. Opportunities to serve God in digital spaces have expanded in recent years, but many don’t know how to get involved or to support and pray for those serving in this way.
At this event, we will hear from two experienced practitioners who will share about their ministries and give some practical guidance.
Jay Chen's Bio:
Jay is a dedicated missionary with WEC International (UK branch) and serves as the leader of Christians in Web3 UK. Residing in North London with his wife Julie and their two lovely daughters, he is passionate about reaching the unreached through digital missions and Web3 technologies.
Alongside his missionary work, Jay is the founder of LightDAO and Bitcoin Angels, pioneering the use of decentralised technologies for Christian outreach and creative community building. He is also the founder of K2 Coffee, a venture that blends his love of craft and culture with kingdom purpose — using everyday touchpoints to open conversations about faith.
With a heart for mobilising Christians and equipping the next generation for digital evangelism, Jay is committed to pioneering new ways to share the message of Christ in the digital age.
Daniel Vickers Bio:
Daniel has worked as a Regional Manager for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association’s Internet Evangelism Ministry (Search for Jesus) for over 7 years. Search for Jesus uses the Internet to share the Gospel around the world. Through the ministry’s evangelistic website, PeaceWithGod.net, people from all walks of life are seeing and hearing a clear Gospel message through videos and Scripture. Trained volunteers are ready to answer their spiritual questions, point them to Christ and help them grow in their faith.
