Deputy Director

Description

Penhurst Retreat Centre is seeking a passionate and dedicated Deputy Director to work alongside the Centre Director in leading our 7 person staff-team and managing the Centre’s day-to-day operations. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a Christian organisation, ensuring our Christian values and mission remain at the heart of everything we do.

We’re looking for someone with strong leadership, hospitality, and management skills to assist in growing our occupancy and serving a diverse range of guests, with a special focus on supporting missionary visitors. They will deputise for the Centre Director as required. If you have a heart for Christian ministry and experience in hospitality and the running of a small-to-medium enterprise, this could be the role for you.

Key Details:

• Hours: 3 days (24 hours) per week. Will involve some weekend work and on-call stays as needed
• Permanent Contract, £30,160 pro-rata per annum (£18,096)
• Eligibility: Must be a committed Christian living in line with Penhurst’s statement of faith and the EA’s affirmations on relationships, have the right to live and work in the UK, holding a valid UK driving licence.
