Half of the 42,000 communities in the Philippines still lack a church that clearly teaches Bible and shares the good news of Jesus in a meaningful way. Pray for efforts to plant more churches in the Philippines.

Lift up to the Lord OMF workers Martha Oates and Simon & Hana Hsu as they prepare to launch a new Shopworkers Church in Kaohsiung. Pray for the process of surveying shopworkers in the area and for spiritual protection when reaching out to shopworkers who may be interested in meeting.

Mekong Minorities – The Dong people group live in very remote areas in the region around the Mekong River. Pray for creative ways for gospel workers to share the good news of Jesus in these areas.

Give thanks for the recent festival celebrating 100 years of Protestant missions in Cambodia. Held in the capital Phnom Penh at the end of January, the Cambodia Gospel Centennial Celebration included exhibitions, concerts, dances and children's activities. Pray for the conference vision statement - that Cambodia would become 'the aroma of Christ in Asia and around the world' would be fulfilled.

Give thanks for 10 new Christians baptised at the end of July at Fullness of Joy Church in Bangkok, Thailand. There were 6 women and 4 men. Some were elderly, some young. Among those baptised, there was a village leader, a cook, a cleaner, a young man recently released from prison. Please pray for these new believers as they learn to walk with Christ each day and to find their place in his body.
