What will you be doing

Sharing God’s Good News with children and young people as you play games and sports with them in schools and community spaces.

Accommodation and meals

You’ll be based just outside Nairobi. The rooms are shared with 2 to 4 people per room, all of which have en-suite facilities. Three meals per day will be provided. Food will be typically Kenyan (rice, potatoes, chicken, beans) but there will be some opportunities to eat at local restaurants (at own cost).

Health

You should visit your travel health professional at least 8 weeks before the trip to check whether you need any vaccinations or other preventive measures for a stay in Nairobi.

Supervision

A Salt Factory Sports leader will be travelling and remaining with the team. We will also be working closely with the SFS Kenya staff and volunteers.

How much will it cost

£1100 (GBP) per person, including food, accommodation, all in-country transport, travel insurance, Salt Factory Sports logoed clothing and a small contribution to ministry costs.

What is not included in the price

Flights (once your place is confirmed we will be in touch about the best flights to book), Visas, vaccinations and safari trip (optional).

Application Process

Applications are now open for anyone age 18 and over, unless travelling with a parent/guardian.

Full payment will be due by 2 May 2026.
