Summer Madness is a five-day Christian festival held in the grounds of Portglenone Abbey that brings together young people from across the island of Ireland to connect, worship and explore the significance of faith today.

What will you be doing

Leading games, activities and sports competitions during the day and running a fun programme each evening. The team will engage in relational evangelism and will have daily devotions, prayer and feedback sessions.

Our team is open to all those aged 16+. Team members do not need to excel in a particular sport, although it helps to be able to play some sports and games. We also need people willing and able to build relationships quickly with teenagers, lead sports, games and activities competently and demonstrate God’s love through their words and actions.

Accommodation and meals

Our team will be based in Tobermore. Bedrooms sleep from 2 persons to a maximum of 6 & have a mix of single & bunk beds. Three meals a day will be provided.

How much will it cost

£250 per person, including food, accommodation, Salt Factory Sports logoed clothing, and a small contribution to ministry costs.

What is not included in the price

Any costs associated with personal snacks/drinks and souvenirs or entrance fees to tourist sites (if any), so some spending money will need to be brought.

Applications are now open for anyone 16 and over.
