Veterinary Jobs Abroad

Description
Ever considered veterinary mission? No, we’re not sharing the Gospel with animals! Rather, it’s about using your veterinary vocation to reach people for Christ. How does that work? Livestock are the livelihood and prize possession for many in poor rural communities. Being able to treat, even save, their animals win great respect from them towards you. They will hear what you have to say of your Jesus.
Opportunities include:
- - Serving nomads (treating camels, donkeys, goats, horses)
- - Farm animal management practices
- - Working for a zoo
- - Cattle raising
- - Animal husbandry (sheep)
- - University veterinary medicine research / teaching
- - ... and training future veterinarians
Pioneers is a global mission agency serving in 85 countries reaching 440 people groups through 480 teams with more than 3,000 members. There are veterinary opportunities in West Africa, Central Asia, Horn of Africa, Middle East, Sub-Saharan Africa and South America.
Most roles require you to raise your own financial support, and possibly learn language, as a missionary. There are a few roles that will take English speaking.
This is a great opportunity to make an impact for Jesus with your professional experience and skills. You will be supported by Pioneers team members on the field, and our UK member care team. We will also guide you through the pre-field preparation process.
