At Global Connections & MAP we are excited to play our part in God’s plan for the world. As a network, our vision is to see the whole Church taking the whole Gospel to the whole World.

After a significant period of transition for the network, 2025 is a year for us to explore new opportunities. After conducting a comprehensive listening exercise last year, we have recently established a new mission statement that sets out what we feel the network is to do in this season:
We are a network that connects mission-hearted organisations, churches and individuals. Through enabling each other, exploring mission together and collaborating, we work to see His kingdom come.
Four key words characterise all that we do; connecting, enabling, exploring and collaborating.
In 2025, the Global Connections & MAP network will be particularly focused on five areas of work which carry out our mission:
1. Exploring opportunities to enable the network to see the next generations engaged more in mission
The Global Connections & MAP staff team are building relationships with national youth, young adult and children’s ministries. We are creating a report on the work to engage young people that is already going on within the network. Together, we will explore opportunities to work collaboratively to see more young people engaged in God’s mission to the nations.
2. Deepening relationships within the network, connecting members into strategic and supportive relationships and exploring possible collaborations
The core purpose of any network is to bring people together. This year, Global Connections & MAP will create more opportunities for the network to gather and grow key relationships, both in-person and online. We will trial new regional gatherings, continue to pray together and explore new opportunities to collaborate.
3. Developing our programme of events, in-person and online, to explore issues that are key to the future of mission
Global Connections & MAP will continue to run a busy schedule of events, including through our forums. These events will explore new ways of working, create space for members to network with one another and investigate practical solutions to the challenges we all face.
4. Investigating new possible areas of work for the future of the network
2025 will be a year for the network to explore new opportunities to work together for God’s kingdom. We will look into initiatives around leadership development, improving how churches engage with the network and other collaborative projects.
5. Broadening our income base to ensure the long-term sustainability of the network
As we steward the finances God has given us, the Global Connections & MAP team will be looking into ideas for additional income streams to resource the activities we are hoping to facilitate in this next season.
As a network, we believe these five priorities for 2025 will enable us to play our part in seeing the whole church take the whole gospel to the whole world and to look ahead and discern the future of the network.
We invite you to partner with us in this. If you would like to know more, or you can think of a way that you can contribute more to the network, please get in touch.
