A New Vision for the network
What does it mean for a network of mission-hearted organisations, churches, businesses and individuals to come together with a shared purpose in 2025? This is the question we are all continuing to explore and our Vision and Mission outlines our next steps towards exploring the answer. In collaboration with a variety of member representatives from across the network, we have taken this vision and mission, and condensed it into a video.
The Core Message: Whole Church, Whole Gospel, Whole World
Our new vision is to see the whole Church take the whole Gospel to the whole World, hand in hand with the global Church. This ethos, inspired by the Lausanne 2010 Cape Town Commitment, celebrates diversity, collaboration, and mutual partnership within the global Church.
The video shares our refreshed key words which give a framework for how we will work together to see the vision become a reality:
- Connecting - Connecting individuals, organisations and churches in the UK who are passionate about participating in God’s mission to the world.
- Enabling – Enabling the sharing of learning, resources and experiences to help us all grow and develop.
- Exploring – Exploring new ideas and ways of doing things, seeking to discern Gods will as we hear from innovative thought leaders and seeking practical solutions to the common challenges we face.
- Collaborating - Collaborating for the kingdom of God, building opportunities for strategic partnership and joint solutions to shared problems to see his kingdom come.
Why Now? Responding to Our Listening Exercise
The decision to make this new vision and mission video was not made in isolation. It stems from a comprehensive listening exercise conducted by our team last year, where insights were gathered from across the member organisations.
The vision and mission this video shares, is our response to these findings, and outlines our first steps towards putting in place the practical work needed to meet the needs of the network.
We all have our own parts to play, but ultimately, we serve the same God and have the same vision, to see the whole Church take the whole Gospel to the whole World.
Join Us in the Journey
Our new vision and mission are not just about a video or a set of statements—it’s a reaffirmation of one of the founding ideals of this network, that we are better together, and we are called to collaborate to see God’s Kingdom come.
As Ben Stansfield, reminds us, “We all have our own parts to play, but ultimately, we serve the same God and have the same vision, to see the whole Church take the whole Gospel to the whole World.”
