Migrants have arrived at the Crowborough camp, and our church is able to run services for the Christians among them. The local mosque has already conducted services and left a book table for the residents. Today our church will hold a service, and books from Elam and others will be set out. Please pray for this new mission field.

Ron's new book on Christ BC. It tracks Christ from the time of creation, Christ of the Gospels and Christ at work from the resurrection till today globally and contextually goes to press this week.

We are attempting to set up 4 looms in central Afghanistan to provide food and school for believing families. A new school has been started in an eastern province but is overwhelmed by the need and applicants. Pray for new buildings to be available.

Our Afghan widow's coordinator is visiting widows who have started with our loom project. They make carpets, sell them and care for their children. All for the glory of God. Pray for a people movement to start.

Our team in Afghanistan report growing success in carpet making by widows. These loom teams will form the basis of church growth as they mature over time. Afghanistan is going through deep waters. Poverty, hunger, earthquakes and a pariah status impacts the poor . Pray as we equip women with looms to create carpets and make a living. Pray for our registration as an NGO in Kabul in order to be more effective in serving this great country.

An Afghan family who was able to gain Canadian citizenship is building a women's prayer network to increase prayer for widows who are in a desperate situation, no schools, no food, no husbands, no food and no work. Pray as the wife returns to build links with widows. Please pray as they seek to equip these Afghan widows with carpet weaving looms to be able to support their families.
