Event Details
Join us online on Tuesday 5th November, 10:00am - 12:00pm, as we explore how to identify and prevent coercion and bullying within Christian organisations and churches.
We have all heard the stories of abuses of power in various ways by leaders in Christian organisations in recent years. In many cases, the coercion and bullying that has taken place has not been effectively addressed by the organisations and churches involved. This is the sort of topic few want to talk about, but one which can be the key to creating a culture that helps our teams to thrive.
In this event, Suzie Leveson, an experienced HR Consultant working with Action Planning, will share with us about how we can put processes in place to avoid a culture of coercion and bullying before it happens and what to do when it does. There will be time for questions and discussions to work out how we move forward practically.
Suzie Leveson is an HR consultant and coach. She is a CIPD member with 19 years HR experience from organisational change to leadership and management, disciplinary, policy provision and employee relations, at organisations including Tearfund, PFS and as HR Director at BRIT School, a performing arts and Creative Arts school in South East London. Suzie is also a qualified personal and professional coach and coaches Leaders and Managers, enabling them to flourish in their roles. Suzie is a former governor of Spurgeons College and Trustee for the Baptist Union of Great Britain, and for CYM. Suzie lives in Nottinghamshire with her pastor husband Pete.
The cost is £15.00 for GC members & MAP agencies. The cost for non-members is £45.00.
