Event Details
Employed, self-employed, or volunteer, that’s the question; it seems simple, but the variation we see within our sector would suggest it isn’t that simple. We might think the employment status used in our respective organisations is as it should be, but what could the consequences be if we haven’t got it quite right?
During this 90-minute online session, we’ll hear from Katherine Sinclair (Legal Director) of Anthony Collins Solicitors who will explain some of the nuances that we need to take into consideration when deciding how to contract those working in our organisation.
Katherine Sinclair is a Legal Director in the employment and pensions team at Anthony Collins LLP, a specialist law firm with a social purpose that is dedicated to improving the lives of individuals, community and society. With 15 years’ experience specialising in employment law, she is a trusted legal partner who advises employers, directors and trustees on difficult employment and business immigration issues. She has significant experience in helping churches, faith based charities and mission organisations navigate the everchanging landscape of employment law with success in areas ranging equality law issues to employment status and defending tribunal claims. She regularly speaks at webinars and conferences and delivers training on a wide range of employment topics.
