Japan is a beautiful, technologically advanced country with a long history and fascinating culture. But it’s less well known that out of a population of 126 million only 0.3 percent are evangelical Christians, making Japanese people the second largest unreached people group in the world. Lorna Ferguson is an OMF member serving in Japan. She is currently back in Scotland and will return to Japan later in 2025 to join a new ministry. Lorna will be updating us on the wider work of OMF in Japan and the specific work that she now feels called to join in the coming years.
We’ll also hear from Jude Tindale about ministry among the Japanese living in Edinburgh.
