OM teams regularly reach out to pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago, in Spain. There are endless opportunities to talk with walkers of every nationality who are searching for spiritual reality and renewal. Pray for the strategic distribution of evangelistic materials among these pilgrims and for fruitful conversations.

Evangelical churches in Italy represent only 1% of the 61 million population. Even though there has been some growth in number of churches, there are still many areas with no vibrant community of Jesus followers. Pray that many Italians would seek and find the grace of Jesus Christ.

Small teams travel through the mountainous, and mostly unreached, Northern Caucasus to share the hope of Jesus with those who have never heard. Pray for connections with persons of peace in the remote villages and that they might be receptive to the gospel.

In North Africa, many young people are becoming disillusioned with the religion of their parents and are looking to materialism and New Age practices to meet their needs. Ask that instead, numbers turning to Jesus will increase.

Europe is now home to a diverse range of migrant populations from across the globe. Pray that the Holy Spirit opens many hearts and minds. Showing friendship and hospitality crosses language and cultural barriers.

Albania faces numerous challenges. With only 0.6% believers among 62% Muslims there are many open doors. The consequences of a 6.4 magnitude earthquake in 2019 and the Covid-19 pandemic have challenged Christian workers in Albania during the last few years. Pray for an abundance of peace in Albania.

Montenegro is barely 20 years old, has just over 630,000 people, of whom only a few hundred are evangelicals. Pray that Christian workers and missions will serve effectively and fruitfully.

Greece was the first European country to hear the gospel in about 49AD. Today 98% are Greek Orthodox and only 0.3% evangelical believers. Pray for those partnering with several Greek evangelical and immigrant churches in youth work, discipleship, and ministry.

In parts of Central Asia, where being a Jesus follower is hindered by governmental restrictions and cultural pressures, give thanks that digital media has an important role in spreading the love of Christ. Broad seed sowing opens hearts and minds. One local said that digital media ‘Children’s Bibles, Action Bibles, and good books online don’t need visas...they stay.’

OM in Hungary focuses on two areas of mission: mobilisation and evangelism through developing relationships with local churches in order to motivate Hungarians to become part of God’s work in His world. Pray for an abundance of fruit from this training.
