Latest Prayers by Reach Beyond

We are thankful for the teams that have been sent out to Greece by Reach Beyond this year to work with refugees in many varied ways. Pray for those who joined the teams, that God will continue to work in their lives. Pray as we prepare for more teams than ever before in 2026, starting with a trip to Lesbos in January by a team from a church in Worcester. Pray that the right people will be inspired by God to join our teams so that we can bless the refugees, our partners and the members of each team.

A national coalition of believers in Thailand has organised 40 days of prayer for spiritual revival. Add your prayers to theirs, asking for one million new believers, and for God to call 10,000 believers to help plant 10,000 new churches. Pray for Reach Beyond as we help them use radio to reach this country of 71 million people with the gospel.

A community development project in a restrictive country is seeing continued growth and expansion of a group that is reading the Bible together. This group of women are meeting on a weekly basis, reading sections of the Bible and memorising the scripture. Pray that they will be willing to download Bibles on their phones or take the New Testament in printed form home with them. They are still very afraid to do this.

Pray for the safe delivery of all the equipment ordered for the new music recording studio at Radio Sinai in the Ivory Coast. Pray for Alfred and Reach Beyond volunteer Colin as they carry out the work in December for this Christian radio partner.

Praise God for the local churches in southern Spain that collaborate with our Christian station Radio Vida FM. One of those churches is Fuente de Paz Baptist Church (Fountain of Peace) who are celebrating their 125th anniversary this year. Give thanks for this church, who - like many other protestant churches - experienced persecution during the Spanish Civil War in the 1930’s and yet have remained faithful to the gospel.

Pray for those who have been sharing the gospel during weekly devotionals with construction workers at the Hospital expansion project in Quito, Ecuador. Praise God for the workers who have recently made confessions of faith and pray for those who are providing follow-up and discipleship.

Ask God for wisdom and to guide all we do in the Sub-Saharan Africa region, both radio and community development projects. Our team is feeling a sense of urgency as we see conflicts, insurgencies, and extremist movements threaten and disrupt ministry efforts. Pray for God's help to know how and where to best invest our time and resources to advance His work.

Pray that the grounding projects going on right now for radio stations in Thailand and Indonesia would be effective in protecting the stations from lightning strikes. This would help the stations to continuously broadcast the good news of Jesus without the fear of injuring staff or damaging expensive equipment.

Pray for Christian station 'Shalom Radio' in Sierra Leone as they have been experiencing some difficulties recently with failing equipment and accidents on their compound. Pray that the evil one will be kept away from this strategic station which is reaching so many in that Fulani community. Pray for the Lord's provision as they plan to start a third station in a nearby town.

Pray for our team engaged in a palliative care initiative in a Central Asian country where it's difficult to be a believer. Praise God for a good working relationship with the local government. Ask the Lord to help them radiate the light of Christ to patients as they build this new healthcare service in such a needy place.

Pray for the healthcare and community development team serving in Ecuador. Give thanks that the medical caravans into the jungle have re-started in conjunction with the National Health Service of the country. Pray as the water and sanitation team come alongside the caravans team to help renovate the clinics that already exist in the communities they visit. The team will also install toilets and water for these clinics. Pray that these new connections into communities will bear fruit for the gospel.
