This final week we pray for our partners at Spurgeons Academy, providing quality education to children of Kibera, Kenya’s biggest slum. Please pray for: - wisdom for the board and staff, as they work so hard to secure a better future for their students - personal stability and academic progress for children at the school - families struggling with high prices, unstable employment, low income, loss and abandonment - God’s provision for more resources to support the work of Spurgeons Academy.

This forth week we give thanks for work delivered through our Children At Risk fund, helping us act in times of crisis, deliver planned interventions and start new initiatives. Please pray for: - helping domestic violence victims and HIV+ children in Sri Lanka - medicine and food provided for school children in South Sudan - improved facilities at a preschool in Bangladesh - delivery of urgent medical help for children worldwide - all the donors who support our Children At Risk programme.

This third week we pray for our work with partners Muthange in Malawi. Please pray for: - wisdom for the Muthange team - encouragement for the marginalised students they support - positive relationships with chiefs, schools and other local and national authorities - safety for girls living away from home for secondary education - mentoring groups to continue to positively impact young lives - progress in plans to further develop this project, especially to overcome bureaucratic hurdles.

This second week of April on Easter Sunday, celebrate the Risen Christ! Then pray for our partners, Love Your Neighbour (LYN), in Bangladesh. Please pray for: - the boys at the Home of Love - the children in the community sponsorship programme - the children attending Learning Booster Centres - young mentors coaching at the Booster Centres.

At the beginning of April, we pray for families oppressed by discrimination, in need of hope and freedom in Jesus, the light of the world. Please pray for: - Dalit families in India - ethnic minorities in Myanmar - families affected by disability in Uganda - families affected by HIV/AIDS in Sri Lanka.

At the end of March, we pray for our partners in Syria. Give thanks for the wonderful Hope Centre team! Please pray for: - blessing and continued protection for the Hope Centre team - effective action to heal trauma and increase resilience in children - stability and safety for families.

This third week of March, we pray for our work and staff teams in Uganda. Please pray for: - wisdom for Country Manager David as he develops his role - blessing and opportunities for our sponsored children - continued effectiveness and growth in work with families affected by disability.

This second week of March, we pray for our work in Zambia, led by our partners, the New Life Action Foundation Trust (NLAFT). Please pray for: - wisdom and resources for NLAFT - progress in developing M8 primary school, where over 750 pupils share just four classrooms - a more reliable electricity supply - loadshedding is very disruptive - give thanks for solar lamps delivered first in 2025, which have been hugely welcomed - protection and progress for our sponsored children.

At the beginning of March, please pray for: - wisdom and resources for our partners, Community Concern as they seek to meet the needs of desperately vulnerable families - the staff and children of the Morning Star Care Centre, giving thanks for the decades of support this project has delivered.

In the final week of February, we pray for our partners in Cambodia and the children of the Graveyard Preschool. Pray for: - our partners, Bethel Mission Organisation, giving thanks for their commitment to marginalised children - effective learning for children attending the preschool - families struggling with insecure work, inadequate housing and poor sanitation - good integration into local schools for preschool children wisdom in developing this work.

As Lent begins, we are praying for our partners in Zimbabwe, and the launch of our Lent Appeal. Please pray for: - wisdom for Pastor Mishack and the team at the Houtberg Childcare Centre (HCC) - provision of all resources needed to build a transitional home for older boys - the focus of our Lent Appeal - healing for the young people at HCC, many of whom have experienced abuse, exploitation and abandonment - success in agricultural initiatives.
