“In the midst of this pain, hope still rises.” Give thanks to God for the faith of our brothers and sisters in Christ in Gaza who are clinging onto the promises of Jesus even whilst facing immense suffering. Ask God to strengthen Christian Mission to Gaza as they continue to provide hot meals and clean drinking water to thousands of hurting people in Jesus’ name. Due to food shortage, it now costs Christian Mission to Gaza $11 to give away one meal. May God provide all they need to continue their aid. Praise God that despite the great food insecurity, CMG are “a source of joy and safety” in Gaza.

Please pray for the work of our alliance partner, CNEC, as they continue their relief work in Myanmar following the earthquake. May God give their teams strength as they reach those in need. Pray that all the children from Hope Orphanage would successfully enrol in school this coming week. Thank God that our ChildAid scheme means their uniform and equipment is fully funded. Pray for the quick and successful completion of the remaining sections of the brick wall fence surrounding Word of Hope’s compound. Pray that this helps the compound to remain safe from the heavy rains in Myanmar.

Thank God that Wakisa Ministries saw its second birth in the new Maternity Centre in May! Praise God that this centre is a safe place for young mums in Uganda to give birth with the support and care they need. Ask God to help Wakisa Ministries to raise the funds for Phase 3 of their new Maternity Centre which includes installing electricity. Praise God that the girls at Wakisa Ministries have enjoyed making their own sanitary towels. “I will sell them to girls in my community and make money. I will also train my friends how to make them!” Please pray for Mary*, a girl supported by Wakisa Ministries, who is pregnant at just 12 years old. May God keep her safe and well and pray that the support of Wakisa would help her to flourish. *name changed for security reasons

Please pray for all the staff at HEAL Africa Hospital in Goma, DR Congo. They say: “The insecurity, killings, thefts during the night - we are living in constant fear of the future.” Thank God that they have cared for 949 patients since the January attack on Goma, including providing spiritual support from Chaplains. Please pray for the 34 people still being treated. Please also pray for the brand-new Chaplaincy School Programme in Goma that HEAL Africa recently launched. Pray that their vision of holistic healing will be brought to life.

Continue to pray that God would call the right people to do various job roles at Potter’s House in Guatemala, including an administrative assistant and partnership development officers. Praise God for the opening of Potter’s House’s first dental clinic in Chiquimula. Ask God for provision in raising funds for the necessary equipment. Following the recent increase in violence in Guatemala, Potter’s House have shared the need for security around their Community Centres, particularly in the central region. Please pray for God’s protection in this.

Praise God that MAF were able to raise awareness about Autism and provide supplies for students with special needs at a school in Vlocisht, Albania. Thank God for Flavio (a young boy) and Kejsi (a young girl) who recently gave their lives to Jesus. They are part of the children & youth ministry at Vlocisht. Pray that the Holiday Bible Club which took place in June engaged well with the children and youth and that many lives were changed and the follow up will produce much fruit. Please also pray for the Community Health Evangelism training reviews to be completed, so Medical Ambassadors Foundation can begin this ministry in Albania.

Praise God with Kanal Hayat that Jesus continues to reveal himself to the Turkish people through dreams and visions. As their reach grows, pray that they would see an increase in financial support. Ask for God’s wisdom and guidance as they explore new fundraising paths and pray that more testimonies will be shared to inspire greater support. Give thanks that they have recently agreed a short-term contract for an editor, which will greatly ease the workload, and please pray that this contract will be extended.

Give thanks that the students at High Priest Academy in Ghana achieved an unprecedented 100% pass rate in their 2024 exams and are now settling in well at High School. Celebrate with Living Word of Faith that the school's athletics team also won numerous medals in the district inter-schools under-13s competition, demonstrating their dedication and teamwork. At the same time, pray for the school as they face growing challenges due to increased enrolment, including limited classroom space and insufficient funds for school lunches. Finally, pray for the Living Word of Faith team as they prepare to join our ChildAid scheme. Ask God to bless their efforts as they work through the necessary administration ahead of the launch.

Thank God that the young people supported by Beginning of Life in Moldova have been enjoying floorball classes, which are helping them to develop perseverance, teamwork and physical skills. Pray for spiritual growth among the Ukrainian refugees they support, asking that the truth of the Gospel would transform their hearts. Give thanks for the Urban Psychological Art Studio, where over 200 Ukrainian refugees are finding healing, hope and a means of expression through creativity and art therapy. Also, pray for the 60 young children, especially those with special needs, in Beginning of Life’s Urban Kids project. As Moldova’s education system continues to struggle, ask God to grant the team wisdom and meaningful opportunities to provide nurturing care.

Please pray for Emerson, PiFò Haiti’s Programme Manager, as his family grieves the sudden passing of his brother-in-law. May God bring them comfort and peace. Ask God to provide the financial resources needed for PiFò Haiti to renovate the preschool section of Monal and Maccia’s school, which is in desperate need of repair. Give thanks that PiFò Haiti was recently able to celebrate the garden staff with a shared meal to thank them for their hard work, which left them feeling deeply appreciated and joyful.

Give thanks to God that the Evangelical Church in North Macedonia is seeing great success through their street evangelism and pray for even more opportunities to spread the Good News. Thank Him, too, for the ordination of three new young elders in Gevgelija and ask that God would use them powerfully for His witness and glory. Also lift up the recent week-long youth Christian festival, Srcokret, which took place in Croatia in June with participation from the Evangelical Church in North Macedonia. Pray for lasting impact, powerful encounters with God, and lives transformed by His love.
