Our special guest for Langham Live in August is Mary Evans, LPUKI Board member and a stalwart supporter of Langham Partnership.
Mary taught mathematics at a Manchester comprehensive school before studying at LBC. She then joined the faculty at LBC/LST, working her way to become vice-principal. She grew to love mission work, often involving theological colleges, in Ecuador, Ghana, Nigeria and Niger, and got joined the councils of Bible Society, Global Connections, EA, Latin Link and SIM.
Mary also taught Old Testament Studies in Addis Ababa and has authored several books including the BST commentary on 1 and 2 Samuel and the Tyndale Commentary on Judges. She now sits on the Board of Langham in the UK and we are blessed to have her!
