RTT provides 18 hours of modular, principle-based training designed to equip international organisations to respond to any raised concern regarding child safety. This course teaches relevant response skills through the CSPN Response Model using multiple scenarios and assessment frameworks. Breakout discussions and group work enhance shared learning and provide excellent networking opportunities. Participants will leave the training with a clearer awareness and understanding of principles and skills that will help you be able to respond to child safety concerns within your organisation.
This training will take place over three weeks, with two sessions per week, each lasting three hours—for a total of six sessions. If you choose to enroll, you must commit to attending every session, so please plan accordingly and adjust your schedule in advance. Additionally, there will be homework between sessions, so please be prepared to complete assignments outside of class. If you choose to attend we request that you:
-
Be in a quiet, studious environment where you can keep your camera on at all times and minimize background noise. Avoid cafés like Starbucks or sitting in a car!
-
Use a computer rather than a smartphone or tablet to fully engage with the training which will include interactive activities and break out groups.
-
Make sure you have a stable internet connection, and if your internet is unreliable, have a backup plan in place.
-
Attend all SIX (6) classes over the indicated weeks.
While online training offers flexibility and convenience, we want to be upfront—Live, in-person training provides the best experience including invaluable networking opportunities. If your organization has the resources, we strongly encourage you to attend one of the upcoming in-person RTT trainings listed on the Events page of our website.
